It is styled in a way to look menacing. The main unit comes with two weapons; an electric baton (or stun stick, a weapon that can stop labors with high powered electric currents) which is stored under it's shield in it's left arm, and a 37mm revolver cannon, stored in it's left leg. The Second Unit of the SV2 use these labors. Ota's AV-98 has a customised head which is very different to the standard issue.

The first unit of the SV2 in the original OVA, and second unit in the first episode of the TV series used these labors. They are fairly clunky and weren't much use against many criminal labors.

Labor Carrier (Original OVA Version) The labor carrier from the first OVA series and the manga. This carrier was used by Division 2. The picture above shows the hydraulic labor lifter in both upright and normal positions. Command Car (Original OVA Version) The Command Car from the original OVA series and the manga. Both Division 1 and 2 use the same type of Command Car. The "Forward" in the Patlabor team relays information to the Police labor and assess situations from this vehicle. Built like a riot vehicle, it can take a lot of punishment, which is just as well when dealing with rouge labors. It also be used to recharge the labor's batteries, and is fitted with spare labor parts and spare battery packs. The carrier is quite large and takes up nearly two lanes on the highway! Used by Division 2, this version of the carrier was seen in all versions of the anime except the original OVA series, and made it's debut in the first Patlabor movie. Still, they're pretty heavily protected. These cars come with standard issue shotguns. They are used by Division two in all versions of the anime except the original OVA series, and they made their debut in the first Patlabor movie. Revolver Cannon This 37mm revolver cannon which is standard issue in the Ingram 98-AV, is quite literally a giant gun scaled up from a standard issue police revolver. As you can see there are two variants of this gun seen in Patlabor. It can fire 6 rounds, but must be manually re-loaded. The gun is stored in the Ingram 98-AV's right leg in a mechanical compartment, which opens up and out when needed. The Ingram's right arm is able to extend down and reach for the gun, which eliminates the need for the pilot to reach down to retrieve the gun from the leg. Riot Cannon This 90mm Riot Cannon is guaranteed to be able to stop any labor dead. Just like the Revolver, the design is scaled up to labor size from a standard police issue shotgun. Used in extreme situations, this cannon is made for use with the Ingram 98-AV. As you would have guessed, this is Ota's favourite weapon. Stun Stick Used to disable labors via a large electric current, this weapon is used to end situations without the use of (much) violence. It is stored under the Ingram 98-AV's shied on it's left arm.
